• Establish and maintain accounting and finance systems in compliance with company and statutory requirements.
• Report to taxation and regulatory authorities monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Prepare statutory financial statements, balance sheet, income statement and cash flow reports.
• Monitor supplier and customer payments and working capital.
• Maintain accounting records and ensure confidentiality of financial information.
• Manage internal accounting activities and explain financial results to management.
• Establish and improve internal control procedures.
• Recommend improvements to accounting and financial policies.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) reports with variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year performance.
• Prepare monthly management reports covering revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, EBITDA, cash flow, working capital and key KPIs.
• Monitor and report CAPEX budgets, approved projects, committed expenditures, actual spending and asset capitalization.
• Coordinate annual budgeting and periodic forecast updates with department managers.
• Develop rolling cash flow forecasts and identify liquidity risks.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, product margins and operational performance.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPI reporting tools.
• Provide recommendations to improve profitability, cost control, cash generation and return on investment.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and headquarters when applicable.
• Chief Accountant Certificate as required by Vietnamese regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of accounting/finance experience.
• At least 3–5 years in a Chief Accountant role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of costing, inventory accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency.
• Ability to present P&L, CAPEX and cash flow reviews to senior management.
• Good English communication skills.
• Monthly P&L report issued by the 5th working day.
• Monthly CAPEX report issued on time.
• Monthly Budget vs Actual analysis completed.
• Rolling cash flow forecast maintained.
• 100% on-time statutory filings.
• No major audit findings.
