Directly manage and develop the Injection Leader and Mold Maintenance Technician: set objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and support skill development. Organize and coordinate the team’s daily and weekly workload in alignment with production priorities. Ensure clear communication of targets and expectations to direct reports. Act as escalation point for operational and technical issues raised by the team. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and safe working practices within the injection and mold department.•
Develop investment budgets and establish ROI for new tooling and equipment.• Review and validate mold designs against Siamp group standards before committing to tooling.
Define injection process parameters (fill, pack, hold, cooling) during mold tryouts.
Qualify molds and materials through structured accreditation protocols.
Ensure first-off parts meet dimensional, aesthetic, and functional specifications.
Identify and implement injection process optimizations to improve cycle time, scrap rate, and part quality. Lead tooling improvement projects in coordination with mold suppliers.
Define and deploy improvements to peripheral equipment (robots, temperature controllers, dryers, etc.).
Apply lean tools (SMED, Kanban, 5S) to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
Maintain and update process documentation and control plans.
Act as first-level technical escalation for injection-related production issues.
