Onsite Delivery Team Leadership: Establish, grow, and continuously improve an onsite delivery organization, ensuring team capability aligns with client expectations and long-term business objectives.
Technical Presales Leadership: Take ownership of technical presales activities for strategic opportunities, including participating in client discussions, conducting workshops, defining solution scope, and contributing to proposals and presentations.
Project Oversight & Risk Management: Oversee delivery across multiple engagements, monitor timelines and quality, proactively identify risks, and drive resolution to ensure successful project outcomes.
Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the senior interface with clients, translating business needs into delivery actions, managing expectations, and maintaining clear, effective communication between all stakeholders.
Account Expansion & Relationship Development: Work closely with sales, presales, and delivery functions to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts, strengthen partnerships, and support long-term account growth.
Financial & Resource Governance: Manage delivery budgets and margins, optimize resource allocation, and ensure financial performance meets agreed targets.
Process, Quality & Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to internal governance frameworks and recognized industry standards (e.g. ISO, CMMI), maintaining high levels of quality and operational discipline.
Job Requirement
Minimum 8 years of experience in project management and/or software development; background in IT outsourcing or technology services is highly preferred.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a complex delivery environment.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, particularly when working with Japanese stakeholders.
Solid understanding of delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, along with hands-on experience using tools like Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
Demonstrated leadership, prioritization, and problem-solving capabilities.
Technical foundation or engineering background is an advantage.
Fluent Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) and strong English communication skills.
